Speech Title: Enhanced One-to-one Care: Proposal for Falls Prevention
Biography: Mrs. Sandra Fidelis is a registered nurse who is passionate about healthcare with the best available evidence to preserve patient safety. She has a bachelor’s degree in nursing and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in nursing at the University of Central Lancashire in the United Kingdom. She is a deputy ward sister in one of the UK NHS Hospitals where she carried out a quality improvement in fall prevention and performed practice development for enhanced one-to-one healthcare assistance to limit fall incidence. She recently enrolled in the professional nurse advocacy program for active engagement in restorative clinical supervision of nurses. Sandra was recently featured in the Pointer Woman Newspaper where she told her story of her relocation from Nigeria to practice in the UK. She is a leadership and personal development enthusiast and believes that being the best version of oneself is possible to make a difference in a generation.
