Biography:Saeed Al Balushi is a healthcare leader with over 20 years of experience in Ministry of Health in Oman. Last 7 years he worked in quality management, patient safety, and risk management. He serves as the Head of the Quality Management & Patient Safety Department at the Directorate General of Health Services in Buraimi, Oman.
Holding an MSc in Biomedical Science (Immunohematology) from Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK, he is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and a Certified Healthcare Risk Manager. Saeed has played a key role in national healthcare policies, risk management programs, and quality improvement initiatives in Oman.
He has led major research projects on patient experience, safety, and healthcare risk management and has been a national trainer in these fields. Recognized as a top healthcare leader, he was selected among the top 15 MOH employees for the prestigious Leadership Preparation Program in Health Institution Management. His expertise and passion drive innovation in healthcare excellence and safety.
