Title: Individual Perceptions Related To Fall Risk Among Older Adults In An Acute Care Setting In Saudi Arabian Hospital
Biography: Ms. Zuhur Altaymani received a master’s degree in nursing education from Daemen College in 2016 and a Ph.D. in nursing science from Kent State University in 2022. She had been a registered nurse since 2006 and had most recently spent the last three years working as the nursing education manager in the nursing education department. She is extremely passionate about patient experience and revolutionary leadership. Because of her enthusiasm for nursing, my life has been enriched by both personal and professional experiences that have equipped me for a career in academics. Her research focuses on how an education intervention affects the frequency of interruptions and medication error rate during the preparation of medications during a three-month period among registered nurses working in Saudi Arabian hospitals’ intensive care units (ICUs). She wanted me to continue to advance healthcare in Saudi Arabia and become a role model for other Saudi women who wanted to follow in my footsteps, so she pursued my additional education in the United States. Her lifetime ambition has been to become a nurse, but as a young Saudi Arabian lady growing up, this presented its own special set of difficulties because nursing is not generally regarded as a highly esteemed career. She was fortunate to have a family who supported and encouraged me while I pursued my goals. We are excited to announce that Dr. Zuhur Altaymani will speak at the 12th World Nursing, Healthcare, and Patient Safety Conference, which is recognized by CME/CPD, from July 25-27, 2023, in Dubai, UAE.
