Biography: He received his Doctor in Medicine degree from the University of Puerto Rico
School of Medicine. He completed his Anesthesiology, Critical Care Medicine, and
Pediatric Anesthesiology residency at The Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions. He
currently works as a Pediatric Anesthesiologist at the Nemours Children’s Hospital in
Orlando, Florida. He is an Associate Professor of the University of Central Florida and
Florida State University Colleges of Medicine. He has more than 30 years of
experience. He has received multiple honors as Best Doctors in America and America’s
Top Anesthesiologists. He recently obtained a Global Executive Master’s in Business
Administration from the IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. Carlos is also an
advocate of healthcare and children rights and has worked for the past two decades
advancing sound public policies with policymakers in the United States Congress.
